Donald is a Partner based in the Bridge of Allan, Stirling. Donald’s main role is the valuation of farms and other country properties located all over Scotland. In addition his work involves the management of rural estates and a range of rural professional work including rent review negotiations and dealing with compensation claims.

Background: A rural estate management graduate and Fellow of the RICS, Gordon represents Scottish and Rural Property interests on the RICS, UK wide, Valuation Professional Group, which sits in Westminster and deals with Surveyor Practice and Guidance matters. A former partner, Gordon has practised as a commercially aware rural property adviser for over 30 years and now supports the rural practice as a consultant.

Jennifer joined the team in 2019 and is Head of Estate Agency in DM Hall Baird Lumsden, Bridge of Allan office. Jennifer has worked in rural and town property sales for many years providing expertise on all aspects of selling town and country properties. Jennifer is a First Class graduate of Heriot-Watt.

Paul Houghton is a chartered town planner and a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI). He has 26 years’ experience in a wide range of planning disciplines in both the public and private sectors. He has worked at a senior level in town and country planning in Scotland for 17 years. Prior to joining DM Hall, Paul ran his own planning consultancy, Houghton Planning Ltd, and before that worked at a senior level for two planning consultancies in Glasgow. He also has experience of the housebuilding industry in Scotland and in local government, in England.

Michael studied at Harper Adams University College and qualified as a Land Agent with Davidson & Robertson. He has worked with The Scottish Agricultural College (SAC) as a consultant and within his own Agricultural Consultancy. Michael is also a working farmer and a Nuffield Scholar.

Duncan is a Chartered Surveyor based in the Bridge of Allan office where he is involved in farm and estate valuation, estate management, rural development and renewable energy. Duncan graduated with a degree in International Relations and Management Studies MA (Hons) from the University of Aberdeen in 2012, and after a period of work and travel, graduated with an MSc in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Aberdeen in 2016.

Wendy joined the team in September 2009. She provides secretarial support to the Rural Valuations team and manages the administration and accounts for a number of high profile Scottish Estates. Away from the office, Wendy enjoys pilates, zumba, swimming and spending time with family and friends.
